HPO’s Pennsylvania Stop Begins on the 26th March

The next regional installment of the Hollywood Poker Open will begin on Thursday 26th at the Hollywood Casino in Pennsylvania. The event will last until the 5th of April. This will include 32 events in total. 11 of these events would be featured ones from HPO.

Promotional seats for the championship event held in Las Vegas will also be given during the Pennsylvania event.

Bill Bruce, who is serving at the tournament director for the HPO has announced that they intend to give away over a hundred of seats to the championship. They will also implement seat winner promotions for regional tournaments. He further added that these tournaments offer an interesting blend comprising of poker professionals traveling to take part and promotion winners who live in the region. This is why these tournaments are great for every player levels.

Players who would be traveling to Grantville would have the opportunity to play against Chris Moneymaker. This legendary poker player was primed at the main event of the 2003 installment of the World Series of Poker. He now acts as an ambassador for HPO. Moneymaker was also present last year in the same location.

Last year, for Season 2, Bradley Yazici had taken down the title and won a total of $22752. The buy-in for the Main Event was at 1800 dollar. Since then, the HPO has managed to gain a bigger momentum in the market and is able to provide more affordable buy-ins. This year’s games is also expected to appeal to a larger amount of poker professional and amateur players.
